Piano

I have enjoyed playing the piano since age six, especially classical piano music. I was first taught by Grace Huang, obtaining an ARCT in Piano Performance from the Royal Conservatory of Music in Canada at age 13. Subsequently, I studied four years with Lujia Xu, who specializes in the music of the Polish composer Frederic Chopin.

While I did not pursue music as a field of study after high school, I continue to practice and perform regularly. I performed the recital below in May 2013, after completing my Statistics PhD thesis defense.
